For over half of her life Donna’s passion has been education. She taught Special Education for the past 24 years in Utah, Nevada, California, Idaho, and even Japan. She taught the 3 to 5 year old developmentally delayed students, and every grade level on up through the seniors in high school. In the past she helped write curriculum for early childhood programs and implemented new curriculum many times throughout her teaching career. A mother of 6, and grandma of 6, she has enjoyed being the teacher as well as the student for the past 33 years. Spending time with her family is her most desired activity, but she also enjoys hiking, biking, gardening, making wooden entry tables and just about anything “hands-on”. She looks forward to continuing to learn and grow in her new role as a Bonneville Academy Board member and is thankful for the opportunity to serve.
