Ms. Glad is very eager and excited to be working at Bonneville Academy as a 4th-grade teacher! She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in University Studies with a Minor in Elementary Education, from Brigham Young University-Idaho. She has been working in the school system for 3 years as a paraprofessional, which has only enhanced her love for teaching. She recently received her teaching certificate from the state and this will be her first year as a teacher and is anxious to start teaching. She enjoys working with children and helping them reach their dreams through education. She has always wanted to be a teacher for as long as she can remember. She firmly believes that every child should be given the opportunity to learn and that when given the proper structure and time, any child can succeed. An education should empower a child and help him or she make a positive contribution to our world. Ms. Glad was born and raised in Montana, where she lived on a small farm with her parents, two sisters, and brother. She loves to spend time with her family; it is one of the most important things to her. She currently resides in Cottonwood Heights with her husband and two loving black cats who keep her on her toes daily. She and her husband enjoy spending time together through various activities such as playing video games, camping, shopping, and reading books. She is looking forward to the upcoming school year and she simply can’t wait to meet all of the students!
