Ms. Massey was born and raised in CT. She graduated from New Milford High School in 1999. She began attending Southern Connecticut State University. Before she finished her degree she moved to the west. Ms. Massey has lived in New Mexico, Washington State, and Utah. She has been in Utah for the last 8 years with her three children ages 17, 12, and 8.
Ms. Massey graduated from Western Governors University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with an emphasis in secondary education. She plans on completing her Master’s degree and then pursuing her doctorate.
Ms. Massey loves Bonneville Academy! This is her second year teaching in middle school. Ms. Massey has taught grades 6-12 for the last six years and is excited for her seventh year of teaching! History and Language Arts are her favorites! Ms. Massey believes that EVERY STUDENT has great potential and loves seeing them learn and grow as they reach for that potential.
Outside of school Ms. Massey can be found spending time with her family, participating in her hobbies, and pursuing further education. Ms. Massey enjoys gardening, reading, making crafts, as well as writing, singing, and playing the piano.
