Ms. Jensen has worked throughout various organizations in different administrative and customer service capacities for nearly 15 years. A big believer in doing whatever it takes to help our children succeed.
Ms. Jensen supports Charter school and STEM based schools. Ms. Jensen is no stranger to working at the front desk and working with children, having spent 5 years as a daycare owner and several years in customer support and administrative roles, which taught her the importance of patience, and hard work.
Ms. Jensen is married with four children, 3 of which will be attending Bonneville Academy this coming year and one at Stansbury High. Her sons, fifteen, twelve and nine, will be in ninth, seventh and fourth grade and her daughter is six and is very excited to start first grade. As a family, they love to cook, listen to and make music, read and spend time outdoors. Ms. Jensen’s varied background in Customer Service, Reception and Day Care provided the perfect foundation for Bonneville Academy’s Receptionist.
Ms. Jensen has been a founding member of our school since its inception and is looking forward to seeing the school grow. She is excited about Charter School and its possibilities with the STEM program. She is also excited to continue to help the growth of Bonneville Academy and is committed to building strong relationships with parents while assisting the students in having a positive educational experience.
Ms. Rylant was born in Copperton, Utah and has been a resident of Stansbury for 13 years. She is so excited to be part of Bonneville Academy! Ms. Rylant has two boys, one is 18 and a soldier with the Utah Army National Guard and the other is 14 and an avid hockey player. When Ms. Rylant isn’t at school, she raises puppies to be service dogs for an organization in California called Canine Companions for Independence. She loves hanging out with her puppies at hockey games! She also loves to read, watch documentaries, crochet and draw. She loves meeting new people, especially kids. Learning new things from students is always an exciting adventure.
Mrs. Metzger was born in Maine and moved to England with her military family shortly after, eventually moving to Grantsville where she was raised.
Elementary PE Specialist
Mrs. Baker was born in Corvallis, Oregon, but raised almost her entire life in Provo/Orem Utah. Thanks to some amazing parents she was raised to always be involved in sports. From a young age Mrs. baker got to enjoy t-ball, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, and much more. She has always been able to attend many different sporting events and even met her husband at a BYU football game. They have been married for 13 years and have 3 wonderful children. Over the last few years her new exercise choice has been running and she has run several 5k’s with her mom, her favorite race being the one she did at Disneyland. If she is not running races you can often find her out taking pictures, traveling, or enjoying activities with her family.
5th & 6th Grade PE Specialist
Coach Sanders is a genuine Stocktonite, originally from Stockton, UT, she is a down home country girl at heart. Along with being a country girl, Coach Sanders has a passion for dance and cheer as it is her best form of expression. Throughout her life, dancing has always been there which she has passed on to her own girls that are currently attending Bonneville Academy. In her “spare time”, you will find Coach Sanders enjoying time with her family, her two loving goats (Ellie and Liberty), and hanging out with Ms. Sharpie. This is Coach Sanders first year of teaching at Bonneville Academy and she looks forward to many years working with our Mariners. “Dance is the hidden language of the soul.” –Martha Graham.
Elementary PE Specialist
Amanda Woolery was born and raised in Downey Idaho. She and her family moved to Stansbury Park in 2017. She and her husband Chris have been married for 15 years and together they have 4 children. 3 daughters who attend Bonneville Academy and their son will be preschool this year. In her spare time she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and enjoying the outdoors. She is excited to be back for another year at Bonneville Academy.
Student Support Specialist
Ms. Miller was born and raised in Magna UT. She moved to Stansbury Park in April 2011. She has a wonderful husband and two kids. Her son will be in fifth grade this year and her daughter will be in second. She has worked at Soelbergs in Stansbury for the last three years. She loves to sew and quilt.She also has helped out at her kids school whenever she can. She also volunteers at the Dental clinic at the Tooele Health Department as a dental assistant.
Student Support Staff
The smiles from the children each day, the laughter and joy they wear on their faces as they rush to class. Aimee’s passion, service, and dedication to the children is second to none, her volunteer work and time spent assisting in any way she can clear indicators of how important she feels about giving freely and donating her time.
Aimee Morgan currently resides in Stansbury Park. Married with children she enjoys reading in her spare time. Her favorite colors are purple and silver and she believes strongly in spending quality time with her family. Her favorite drink is Pepsi and milk chocolate her occasional indulgence.
Aimee has been an active volunteer in the educational sector for some time now, and when the opportunity arose to become a staff member here at Bonneville Academy her excitement was overshadowed only by her gratitude. Her dedication to the educational development of the students will be a top priority, as well as mutual teamwork with staff and respect for one another.
Lindsey Tanner is excited to be back at Bonneville Academy. She is teaching and running the Lego League program this year. She loves working with the Middle School students and finds so much joy in watching them learn and grow each year. She loves getting to know each student and her number one goal is to make sure each child she works with finds their own personal strengths and becomes the best
they can be.
Lindsey attended Salt Lake Community College of Cosmetology and received her degree in Cosmetology and Barbering in 1997. She and her husband have been married for 16 years and have lived in Stansbury Park since 2003. They have 4 children, 3 boys and one girl. Her 4 children attend Bonneville Academy.
Lindsey has several years of experience through volunteering at their local elementary school as well as serving on the PTA board as VP of education for 2 years. Lindsey ran a daycare in her home for 7 years where she cared for a variety of children aged 3 months to 12 years.
In her free time Lindsey’s most favorite thing to do is read, she loves all types of books and will often get lost in one for hours. She also enjoys baking, swimming and spending time with her family. Most weekends, when the weather is warm enough, you will find her with her family at the pool. She also spends many hours at the soccer fields watching her children play soccer. She is looking forward to
sharing new adventures and experiences with the Bonneville Team.
Miss Rissa grew up right here in Tooele, graduating from Tooele High in 2007. She married her high school sweetheart in September 2011 and now has 2 children. Her daughter is starting kindergarten here at Bonneville Academy, and her son will begin his first year of preschool this year. She also has 2 dogs at home as well. Miss Rissa has a passion for working with kids and making learning fun. Outside of school you can catch her teaching dance at N-Step Dance Academy, at vendor events with her small business, or out having fun with her family. She loves dancing, cooking, baking, and all things Disney. She is excited to work with and get to know the students at Bonneville Academy!
Mrs. Russom was born in California but spent the majority of her life in Utah. She’s currently a full-time student majoring in Elementary Education. She has a passion for working with students and loves to volunteer in her community. She has a little dog who she spoils very much. Mrs. Russom is so excited to be part of the Bonneville Academy team!
Ms. Searle is excited to be beginning an adventure with you at Bonneville Academy! She loves working in the lunch room! In fact, it’s her 10th year working in a cafeteria!! She and her husband recently moved to Tooele from Wisconsin. They have 5 children, 7 grandchildren and two dogs named Boo and Snickers. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with the grandbabies and being outdoors playing games and cooking dinners on the campfire.
Ms. Shelley is Excited to be part of the Amazing kitchen staff again this year! She enjoys getting to serve and help all the kids in the lunch room!
